Sophia Kühn has been working independently in the field of web and graphic design since 2001. Through her many stays in France on the Atlantic coast, she fell in love with the immense nature of the Atlantic but also with the tranquility that one feels on the water, this she captured many years photographically and since 2016 also on canvas.
Kühn paints with a lot of spontaneous energy and love for her subject. Partly representational, partly abstract, the mood of the French coast she captures impressively in her paintings and captivates every viewer. She paints pictures with wide horizons, in which one can no longer distinguish where one element ends and the other begins. In addition, figures, people who lose themselves in this vastness.
When asked about the exhibition she says: I show my inner self, there are many emotions in my paintings. With some of the subjects you feel far away from everything, with others you feel in the middle of the action. Sometimes happy, sometimes angry, sometimes melancholic. My wish would be that the pictures would also evoke such emotions in the visitors.

Petra Stephens is a German/American artist who is currently rediscovering Europe and sharing with us her love for this unique continent.
Stephens is very active with the “urban sketchers” who also document their environment in quick sketches, which are then turned into oil paintings in the style of aesthetic realism. When asked about the exhibition she says: “I paint to express my joy and I always wish only the possibility to give other people with it also a smile or even a smile”.

The exhibition Landscape invites all visitors to embark on a journey with the artists and it surprises with overwhelming colors, surprising details, great moods and spontaneity.
